Digitally Printed Full Color Envelopes
If your envelope design has lots of color, and your quantity is not large, digitally-made envelopes may be your best choice! competitively priced from quantities up to about 1,000, digitally printed envelopes are printed in full color, so your design can contain an unlimited number of colors!
Disadvantages
Because a digitally printed envelopes are printed on pre-made envelopes, they do not perform heavy solids of ink coverage or bleeds (printing all of the way to the envelope edges) with perfect results. Designs with more than 40% ink coverage must be submitted as an offset product. Full color backgrounds should be avoided. Use a white backgrounds with low ink coverage (such as logo and text only). Avoid or limit use of transparencies and gradients.
